Kobie Bloomfield

Senior Speech Pathologist

Kobie’s warm demeanor engages all of the children that meet her. She graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney in 2012 and has been working in the area of Paediatrics for the past 10 years. She has a wealth of experience working with children under the age of 5 who present with speech delay, fluency difficulties (stuttering), preschool aged language and complex speech sound disorders. Kobie is trained in the Lidcombe Program, the Learn to Play program, the Secret Agent Society Program and the Hanen 'It Takes Two to Talk' Program. Kobie has also been trained in the SOS feeding program and particularly enjoys joining 'fussy eaters' on their journey as they interact with new foods. In her spare time, she enjoys engaging in drama classes, pilates and travelling to the snow.

Kobie's therapy places particular emphasis on working directly with parents to understand their child's needs and empowering them to take a more 'hands-on' approach in developing their child's communication and feeding skills. Parents leave therapy with a stronger sense of how to support their child in a more wholistic manner.
